As Hanna is away on honeymoon it falls to me, her Mum, to say thank you for the superb service you gave and the beautiful cake you delivered. Quite apart from the look of it, which drew the admiration of everyone at the reception, I have to say that it was one of the best fruit cakes I have ever tasted - and I've tasted a few! The rich smell of it when it was cut brought people running!

Hanna said that in all the traumas of the wedding, you were the only person she trusted implicitly to come up with the goods - she placed her order, you made the arrangements, and you followed them to the letter, without fuss or bother, even though you had to deliver the cake some distance on the day.
